to Bring to Class
Please
read your class supply lists. We normally carry all
of the required items in the store (with the exception of
some items in a few of our doll classes), but you'll want
to call in advance and have them set aside for you. If the
entire class waits until the last minute, the chance is greater
that we will not have something in stock for you.

Patterns and books are not included in the price of the class
unless specified.
Sewing
Machines must be brought to class for any classes that require
them. I'm sorry but we do not have machines available for
class use. If you have difficulty carrying yours up the stairs,
we would be more than happy to assist you. Please make sure
that your machine is in good working order before class.
General
Sewing Supplies:
• sewing machine
• scissors
• thread
• pins
• bobbins
• reverse sewing tool (also more commonly referred to
as "seam ripper")
Quilting
Supplies:
• rotary cutter (no mat as we have several)
• acrylic ruler(s)
• extra blade for cutter
Daytime
classes allow time for lunch. You may bring a lunch. Tea or coffee
always brewing.
We
encourage you to bring your excitement, enthusiasm and any
questions you may have!! |
OPEN HOUSE DAY
Saturday September 11th, from 11-2
The Open House is a day that we set aside for you to come into the store and see the class models, talk to the teachers, gather supplies and have a great time! Remember, when you sign up for classes on "Open house" day, you will receive 10% off your class supplies, and get your key tag punched, too! We have some great classes scheduled.

Please register and prepay for the class of your choice. Send
a S.A.S.E. for material list, with registration form.
•
We appreciate your purchase of class supplies at The Icehouse,
and encourage you to have your "VIP Key Tag" punched.
•
"In house" classes, require 2 week advance cancellation for
full credit. We do have a 3 person minimum in our classes.
•
For "guest instructors" class, we credit your class fee if
we fill a spot from a waiting list.
•
All class credits should be used within 3 months.
•
Please be prompt, bring your supplies and have a good time!

Bernina
Sewing Machines in The Class Room!
It's always nice to use your own
machine in a class, but if you can't bring yours, you can
use a new Bernina. This is a great opportunity for you to
try the "Wonderful Bernina Machine" if you are thinking
of a purchasing a new one. Remember, we think Bernina is the
best! |
